Quail Ridge Press Celebrates 30 Years 1978-2008
Brandon, MS - Quail Ridge Press publisher,
Barney McKee, and best-selling authors/editors, Gwen McKee and Barbara Moseley, have been presented with a proclamation from
the Mississippi House of Representatives to congratulate them on 30 years of publishing successes under House Resolution No.
25. Representative Mark Baker said, "I am proud to tell you this Resolution was passed by a unanimous vote."
Best known for the Best of the Best State Cookbook Series, Quail Ridge Press started on
the McKee's dining room table with a little book called The Twelve Days of Christmas Cookbook. Now, 30
years later, over 140 books have been published-cookbooks, regional books, and a Mississippi art series. Quail Ridge
Press is still going strong.
"Barney, Barbara, and I are thrilled and honored to have been recognized
by the Mississippi House of Representatives on our 30 years of publishing here in Brandon. We hope our future endeavors
continue to make Mississippi proud," said Gwen McKee.
