AT&T Pioneers

Pioneers are the world's largest corporate volunteer organization. Founded in 1911 as the Telephone Pioneers of America, we’re now more than 620,000 members strong—men and women committed to serving our communities in the United States, Canada and beyond.

Pioneers are a network of volunteers who effect immediate, tangible change in local communities, in partnership with their sponsors. For nearly a century, the Pioneers volunteer network has logged hundreds of millions of hours meeting specific needs in local communities.

Whether it’s a cash donation to support a homeless shelter, or a one-on-one tutoring project to battle illiteracy, Pioneers make it possible for sponsor companies to get involved with communities they are in—giving back to their customer base, while building their pool of potential employees.

Cookbooks have been profitable venues for many Pioneer organizations throughout the United States. Quail Ridge Press is pleased to have helped several chapters from Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Texas continue their legacy by publishing a compilation their out-of-print cookbooks in to one BEST of the BEST Pioneer cookbook. As with their other cookbooks, sales support Pioneer volunteer efforts.
