Autumn Harvest Applesauce
Serve alone as a dessert, or used as a topping for toast, cake, or even ice cream.
3 pounds apples, cored, chopped
1/3 cup brown rice syrup
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon unsulfured molasses
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
2 tablespoons whole-wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup raisins
2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)
Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir well to combine. Cover, and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours.
