Chocolate Cream Supreme  Chocolate Cream Supreme

1 (18 1/4-ounce) package dark chocolate cake mix
1 (1 1/4-ounce) envelope whipped topping mix (Dream Whip)
1 (4-ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 (16-ounce) can creamy milk chocolate frosting
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed


Prepare and bake cake as directed on package in 2 (8-inch) greased and floured cake pans.  Cool, and split layers to make 4.  Blend topping mix, pudding mix, and cold milk; beat until stiff.  Spread 1/2 this Filling on bottom layer of cake (remaining, later, on third layer).  Make Glaze for top of cake by heating 2/3 cup frosting slightly.  For second layer, make Chocolate Cream by folding remaining frosting into thawed whipped topping; 1/3 goes on second layer, and remainder around sides of cake after glazing top.  Spectacular!  Keep cake refrigerated (if there’s any left).
