Chocolate and Peanut Butter Truffles

1 cup peanut butter chips   
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup cocoa powder   
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with butter.  Stir in cocoa until smooth.  Add milk and vanilla.  Cook and stir until thickened and well blended, about 4 minutes.  Remove from heat.  Chill 2 hours or until firm enough to handle.

COATINGS:
(choose any of the following)
Finely chopped nuts
Unsweetened cocoa
Graham cracker crumbs,
Confectioners’ sugar
C
hocolate
C
andy sprinkles
 
Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in any of the Coatings.  Chill until firm, about 1 hour.  Store covered in refrigerator.
