Ranch Turkey Sliders
1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dill
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
2 egg whites
1 slice whole-grain bread, no sugar added, well toasted, and processed in a food processor for bread crumbs
Salt to tasteCombine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Form patties about the size of a golf ball, and flatten. Cook on a rack in slow cooker on LOW for 4 hours, or until internal temperature of meat reaches at least 165 degrees.
Serve on rounds of whole-wheat bread with your favorite toppings.
Note: If you don't have a rack, a metal vegetable steamer works in a pinch.
