Hungry teenagers will make this disappear.
1 loaf frozen bread dough
1/4 pound provolone cheese, grated
1/4 pound American cheese, grated
1/2 pound pepperoni or salami
1 large tomato, cut into chunk, (optional)
1 small onion, sliced thin
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 tablespoons olive oil
Defrost and let bread dough rise according to package directions. Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Spread provolone and American cheeses over dough, keeping 1/2 inch from edge. Spread pepperoni next. Top with tomato, onion rings, seasonings, and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle olive oil over all. Roll as you would a jelly roll and seal the edges. Rub with olive oil, puncture with fork, and place on oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Yields 4-6 servings.
Hint: Add other sliced meats if you enjoy a meatier sandwich.

Editor’s Extra: Frozen bread loaves come several in a package; this uses only one. It looks small frozen, but rises to a good-sized loaf.
