Miriam Weems has found a niche in creating happy
memories for people through her paintings. She has received numerous honors and awards from the many charitable organizations
she so generously gives her time and talents to help fund. Miriam graduated from the University of Mississippi
in 1963, the New York School of Interior Design in 1965, then while raising two sons, returned to Ole Miss to receive her
fine arts degree in 1986.
Miriam paints every day in her Belhaven cottage studio and lives close by with her
husband Tommy and their pets, Sassy, Wilbur, Mister Micawber, Halloween, and Boo Boo.
