William D. "Billy" Mounger
 William D. "Billy"
Mounger is a West Point graduate and former chairman of its Board of
Visitors. A successful oilman, banker, and entrepreneur, Mounger is
nationally known as a leader of both the modern Mississippi and National
Republican parties. Billy Mounger served among Ronald Reagan’s advisors
and has been Senator Trent Lott’s long-time fund-raising chairman. As a
philanthropist, this life-long Mississippian has devoted much to his
state’s cultural and spiritual growth. Willam D. Mounger is the author
of Amidst the Fray: My Life in Politics, Culture, and Mississippi.
